Culé recebeu 1.073 votos, enquanto o adversário, Fábio Gondim, foi o escolhido de 553 sócios.

Culé é sócio do Iate Clube desde 1980 e acumula vitórias da vela. Ele atua no Conselho Deliberativo da instituição desde 2011. Ele lidera o grupo Orgulho de Ser Iate, que tem 11 como número de urna.
